Game Jerseys
To make sure we comply with WMG 2027 rules, there are restrictions on game jerseys.
- Your game jersey number is pre-assigned and must not be changed during ordering. This will be enforced during processing.
- B grade teams will wear our blue jerseys in games. The A grade team will wear our black “alternate”. You must order at least one game jersey of the type required for your grade.
You do have some choices to make though:
- You may change how your name appears on the back of your game jersey so long as it follows standard baseball protocols. Nicknames are not allowed.
- You may choose the size of your jersey.
- You may choose how many spare game jerseys you want e.g. you may wish to have spares in case of loss, damage, and/or cleanliness.
Other Jerseys
Besides ordering game jerseys, you may also order some additional jerseys of any colour or customisation. These could be for supporters, family members, trading with opponents, or personal use e.g. a B grade player may just want to have a black jersey to wear outside of games. These do not have to match your game jersey colour or number but are not approved for game use unless they do. The order form allows for three extra jersey formats (combinations of colour, name, number, size).

Uniform Payment and Delivery
Tour members are asked to make payment of NZ$75 per jersey ordered as soon as possible.

Non-residents of New Zealand, please get a local mate to make your payment or get in touch about alternative mechanisms.
Once we have an order from every uniformed tour participant, we will submit the batch order. It will take six weeks to be produced. All custom jerseys will be delivered to a single location in Auckland for collection. Non-residents of Auckland will be contacted to arrange a courier shipment or some other solution.
There will not be another opportunity to order jerseys unless we have enough orders for minimum batch size (20 jerseys of the same type).
Uniform FAQs
What about caps, pants, and other uniform elements? Read about Ārahi uniform elements here. Caps and training apparel are to be bought via our New Balance apparel store. Please ensure you buy caps early.
How about white pants? Only the A grade team will wear white pants. In general, our reasoning is that grey pants are easier to maintain on tour and look better with our jerseys i.e. the white logo and identification elements on the jersey “pop” better when not competing with white on the pants. All B grade teams will wear grey pants.
How about B Grade teams wear black jerseys as well e.g. in clash situations? We are not required to bring clash jerseys and so will stick with one jersey colour per grade to save cost.
Why can’t I change my number? Numbers are not repeated within grades. This avoids number clashes if we have to move people between squads or if we wish to support each other as uniformed team officials if the schedule allows.
Can I re-use my jerseys from WMG 2025? Yes, if your number is the same. However, there is a risk because they are slightly different i.e. ABA and AKL shoulder logos instead of BNZ and MBA – it may be an issue if officials are strict. We suggest getting at least one new jersey with the current shoulder logos.
Do managers and base coaches have to be in uniform? If you may set foot on the diamond, yes.
Do umpires and scorers need uniform jerseys? No, but you’re welcome to rep the team around Kobe. (We suggest scorers be prepared to be in uniform if you’d like to be in the dugout).
Can I change my order after I press “submit”? Yes, as long as the order hasn’t been sent to the manufacturer. Send any changes to the president email address.
