The legends begin!
As the Auckland Ārahi, our first tour was to the World Masters Games in Taipei and New Taipei City in May 2025. We carry this memory with us every day as our Ārahi blue (PMS 7455 C) was chosen to both represent our home while also being light and bright in the heat of May in Taipei.
Summary
This group created the Ārahi culture of fair play, friendship, and fun out of nowhere over the course of just a few days and games.
Although we did not progress out of the group stage, we had a thrilling win at Tianmu and were competitive in every match-up.
After our round robin, we finished on the diamond with a friendly game against Yakyu Baga and then became baseball tourists as we enjoyed watching WMG competition (baseball and otherwise), attending CBPL games, and exploring the wonderful sights of Taipei and New Taipei City.
