With support from the Auckland Baseball Association, we formed as a team under the name “Auckland Ārahi” to participate in the World Masters Games in Taipei and New Taipei City in May 2025. In preparation, we first took the diamond in friendly matches in March 2025 and undertook our first competitive matches in Baseball New Zealand’s 2025 Masters Nationals in April 2025. Later that year, we incorporated as Ārahi Baseball Club Inc with ten founding members and affiliated to BNZ. The following are our founding players and members.
